Welcoming all people, the University Presbyterian Church witnesses to the love and power of God as demonstrated in the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. We are a caring Christian community reaching out and embracing all people as Jesus taught us. We strive to respect and value each person, believing that God has opened his arms to all.
This past Sunday we continued in our series on the multi-dimensional nature of God. This is the fourth sermon in this series as we have explored "up," "out," "in," and now, "ahead." The text is Isaiah 40: 21-31. This section is the beginning of 2 Isaiah and was written during the Babylonian Captivity, when the nation of Israel was dealing with a period of great anxiety and despair. It is never easy to face an uncertain future. Go to past sermons.
This month our adult team will be traveling to Honduras to work on our third school. The trip is February 17-25, 2018.
